Church partly from the XVIIth and XIXth centuries.
Romanesque church of Vopillon hamlet ; an ancient
chapel of a destroyed monastery of the
Fontevraud
order, it has a strange wall bell-tower. The choir is
decorated with valuable wall paintings of the
XIVth Century. This church figures in the
Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments.
The Artigue bridge, uniting the villages of Beaumont
and Larressingle, is an old Romanesque bridge
composed of 4 unequal arches, built on the St-Jacquesde-
Compostelle route.

 A Romanesque church which underwent alterations in the XVIth century, this was dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Its bell was cast in 1571 and carries several historical inscriptions.

The early XVIth century St Peter’s Cathedral* was built on the ancient foundations of a Benedictine abbey that had been founded in 1011. The impressive construction works are of the Gothic style; the organ was restored in the XVIIIth century ; the stained-glass windows and choir are of the XIXth century ; the cloister goes back to the XVIth century**, and the old bishop’s palace to the XVIIIth** (sub-prefecture).
St-Jacques’ Church** used to be adjoining to the hospital especially designed for Compostelle pilgrims.
Pradau Church*, truly a casket of religious art presents, among other treasures a Romanesque portal called door of the « Capots » (Hoods), an exquisite painted wooden ceiling of the XVIIth century, a remarkable painting by J. Smets...
Ancient Prouilhan Dominican sisters monastery, founded during the XIIIth century, of which remains a XVIIth century door decorated with fluted pilasters and with small alcove.
The Romanesque Lialores Church*, a remarkable structure of the XIIth and XIVth century, which used to be a famous place of pilgrimage, will please stone lovers. You will find there the relics of St Antony of Lialores.

 Church of the XIIth and XIIIth centuries* dedicated to St Sigismond, featuring two peculiar stamped in naves. Its entrance arch rests over two pure Romanesque style, historied chapiters.

 The Benedictine Romanesque church* comprises of a short nave, only two bays and a transept featuring a deep apse. According to archeological studies, this could originate from the XIth century. Visiting hours for the church : from June 15th to September 15th, Wednesday to Sunday 10 AM to 12 and 3 PM to 7 PM.
